Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) at Windham Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Windham Hospital. As an RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

About the Role:
The Emergency Department at Windham Hospital is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills. Our RNs see a wide range of patients, including those with behavioral health and opioid-related needs. Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the RN will utilize evidence-based practices to develop individualized plans of care that meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families. The RN will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current CT RN licensure or be in the process of obtaining it. A minimum of one year of RN experience is required, and national certification in a specialty is preferred. Additionally, candidates must have current BLS certification and be able to obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within three months of hire.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on national averages for registered nurses in Connecticut.
