Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is a leading healthcare network in Connecticut, and we're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Advanced Healthcare Practitioner. In this role, you will work closely with patients and medical professionals to provide high-quality wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. As an Advanced Healthcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for comprehensive diagnosis and wound assessment of patients, ordering lab tests and imaging studies as needed, and managing hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments. You will also coordinate patient care, including nursing, nutrition, medications, dressings, and adjunctive wound therapies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program and licensed or eligible to be licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner through a national board certification
- Wound care certification or experience preferred; training in Hyperbaric Therapy will be provided
