About the Role
Hartford HealthCare (HHC), the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking an Oncology Care Professional to join our team at the William W. Backus Hospital Cancer Institute in Willimantic.
This exciting opportunity allows you to provide value-based care to oncology patients primarily in outpatient settings. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with nationally respected colleagues in a progressive, physician-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and manage cancer patients in outpatient settings, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in professional development opportunities through Hartford HealthCare's relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Your Qualifications
- Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner.
- Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.
