About the Role

The Advanced Wound Care Specialist will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive wound care services to patients. This includes assessing patients' wounds, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' wounds and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Order lab tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Manage hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments and other advanced wound care modalities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
  • Certification as a National Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine is preferred
