Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Anthony's Runway 84. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus, recipes, and kitchen procedures.
  • Culinary Expertise
    • Prepare and cook meals to meet the specifications of our guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all kitchen ingredients and food portions are properly measured and stored.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage the kitchen inventory and ensure that supplies are fresh and of high quality.
    • Monitor and control food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Sanitation and Safety
    • Ensure that the kitchen and workstation are clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience and Education
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing menu items, recipes, and kitchen procedures.
