Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Robotics Embedded Firmware Developer II to join our innovative Space Systems Development (SSD) team. This unit is dedicated to crafting next-generation systems and concepts that will enable sustainable living and working in space.

Your contributions will directly influence the trajectory of spaceflight, necessitating a meticulous approach to safety and repeatability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance embedded firmware solutions for robotics applications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate firmware into complex systems.
  • Maintain and enhance existing firmware codebases, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in embedded systems and robotics technologies.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with a proven track record in embedded systems development.

We require a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in firmware development, particularly within robotics or similar fields.

Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems are essential.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

An advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous, as is experience with robotic systems, sensor integration, and control algorithms.
