iOS Robotics Software Engineering Manager

As an iOS Robotics Software Engineering Manager, you will lead an amazing team and own outstanding robotics algorithms suite from prototype to deployment. In this role you will have an impact on the current state of the art in Robotics in taking the algorithms from initial concept to highly reliable software solutions.You will be building a team, providing leadership where it counts and shipping products you will be proud of.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience building and managing teams specializing in Robotics / Perception Algorithm development .
- 5+ years of hands on experience in Robotics Algorithms focusing on Perception and Localization .
- Experience with integration of Perception Machine Learning Models
- Expert understanding of multimodal sensor fusion
- Software architectural and design experience
- Ability to focus on the essential, in exclusion of all else and above all, driven to ship.
- Masters or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent communication skills
- A personable leader capable of encouraging your team and others to action by leading hands on.
- Forward-thinking with strong collaboration skills
- Thrive in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment, relying on your team for support
- Experience with integration of Perception Machine Learning Models
- C/C++, Python and ML/Algorithm tools and debug experience
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
