We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the clinical needs of patients in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Current California RN license
- Minimum of 6 months demonstrated nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting
- Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of JCAHO requirements
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
- Current ACLS certification
