Clinical Nurse II Position

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients. This role requires a strong ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a plan of care for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plan as necessary
Act as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
Minimum 6 months recent emergency room nursing experience
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Preferred Qualifications
Prior ICU Nurse experience
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
