Clinical Nurse II Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UCI Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of assigned patients. This role requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience in Perinatal Services and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a plan of care for assigned patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plan as necessary
Act as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses
Requirements
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in Perinatal Services
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
Licenses and Certifications
RN licensure
NRP certification
BLS certification
ACLS certification
