Job Overview:
The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for the setup, testing, and maintenance of specialized pharmaceutical printing equipment. This role is designed for highly skilled operators who demonstrate advanced proficiency in their craft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of the mechanical functions of all specialty pharmaceutical machines, ensuring proper setup, testing, cleaning, and assembly of products while meeting productivity standards.
  • Conduct ISO/cGMP compliant quality assessments for all operational tasks performed on machinery, maintaining organized workspaces and documentation to adhere to ISO and GMP regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues, providing assistance to fellow operators in troubleshooting uncommon challenges.
  • Interpret essential documents to facilitate job completion, aiding colleagues in understanding and applying job specifications.
  • Facilitate training sessions for other operators on manufacturing processes and equipment handling.
  • Work with minimal supervision, exercising judgment within broadly defined policies to select appropriate methods and evaluation criteria for achieving results.
  • Engage in non-routine and complex tasks with limited oversight.
  • Support Research and Development initiatives, participating in product and process development trials, and conducting performance testing of new raw materials and products.
  • Execute material transactions in the ERP system for raw, in-process, and finished goods involved in production.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of job-related policies and procedures, effectively navigating moderately complex situations with limited supervision.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve moderately complex issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, while maintaining compliance with company safety policies.
  • Foster effective communication and productive relationships within the immediate department or team.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Compensation: $31.00 per hour
