Job Title: National Sales Executive

RVMP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Executive to join our Sales team. As a key player in the sale of portable generators, your focus will be on big-box retail stores, after-market relationships, and online platforms such as Amazon, Google Marketplace, and Meta Marketplace.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and market trends, focusing on big-box retail, after-market relationships, and online retail platforms.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through networking, growth hacking, and innovative sales approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including big-box retail stores, channel partners, and online retailers.
  • Oversee portfolio sales, direct to market sales, direct channel sales, and channel partner management to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns, content, and a digital presence to support sales efforts and drive brand awareness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage future research and development goals and aspirations to ensure cutting edge product offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience as a National Sales Executive or similar role in a related industry, ideally with a focus on portable power solutions, consumer products, or big-box retail sales.
  • Retail Relationships: Pre-existing relationships with big-box retail stores and key online retailers are a strong plus.
  • After-Market Sales: Prior experience working in the after-market sales channel, particularly with portable generators or related power solutions and equipment.
  • Sales Performance: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth within assigned territories or channels.
  • Sales Expertise: Expertise in portfolio sales, direct-to-market sales, direct channel sales, and managing channel partners to maximize revenue and market share.
  • E-commerce Proficiency: Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies for online marketplaces, including experience with marketplace-specific advertising and listing optimization.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience closing deals with large retail chains, online platforms, and distributor networks.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of portable generators and their applications in various industries, particularly in after-market sales and big-box retail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to sales forecasting and business development.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office, Google for Business Tools, Google Analytics, and other web metric platforms.
  • ERP Systems: Proficiency with NetSuite or significant experience with ERP systems, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, retail partners, and team members.
