Job Summary:
This role involves planning, developing, and executing independent audits focused on information technology. You will conduct regulatory controls testing, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and manage the administration of technology systems utilized in the audit process. Your responsibilities will include performing data analysis to identify patterns and potential system issues while providing guidance and expertise to fellow team members. You will work with minimal supervision, completing assignments independently under the general direction of more experienced auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute information technology audits.
  • Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing and other necessary regulatory assessments.
  • Ensure documentation supports conclusions and adheres to required standards.
  • Gather relevant data, organize materials, and utilize sampling techniques and data analytics on non-complex audits.
  • Collaborate with clients to offer insights on internal control frameworks, information security, and process efficiencies.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and standards to maintain appropriate controls.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on audit findings at various organizational levels.
  • Coordinate the administration of information technology systems.
  • Engage with internal and external teams collaboratively throughout the audit process.
Qualifications:
This position requires a dual-track educational background, with one of the following:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering, or a related science discipline, accompanied by 3 years of relevant experience in information technology auditing or compliance.
2. An Associate's degree in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience.

Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred, or completion of such certifications within two years of hire.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with information technology processes and methodologies.
  • General understanding of emerging technologies and automated controls.
  • Ability to learn new technology environments quickly.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in managing small projects and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business operations systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Formal training in continuous improvement methodologies.
