The IT Training Specialist will operate under the guidance of the Supervisor and the strategic direction of the Health and Business IT Training & Support Division. This role involves delivering comprehensive training and support to end-users, focusing on the Microsoft Office Suite. The specialist will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to design and implement various integrated learning and development initiatives that encompass both formal and informal technology-enabled collaborative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate training sessions both virtually and in-person, including knowledge-sharing workshops and on-site training.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, research, diagnosis, resolution, and escalation of intricate technical issues related to M365 services.
  • Support Service Desk Associates by addressing inquiries and issues on behalf of the Collaboration Solutions Support.
  • Collect feedback through surveys to evaluate employee knowledge and skills, ensuring the delivery of appropriate educational programs.
  • Monitor and respond to trends in Service Desk collaboration tools to identify and manage emerging issues.
  • Oversee communication channels such as email and group chats to assess the current status of M365 services and incoming user requests.
  • Evaluate new technologies and support frameworks to enhance system integration.
  • Propose enhancements to processes that facilitate the effective use and adoption of M365.
  • Identify issues and report trends to the Training Manager, recommending relevant training and development programs.
  • Conduct site visits during implementation phases to provide support.
  • Facilitate hands-on labs to aid in training and user adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training on Microsoft Office within a corporate or healthcare environment.
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree or relevant vocational training preferred.
