The Manager will oversee a team of cybersecurity experts and collaborate closely with the IT department and other units to pinpoint and alleviate security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate, execute, and uphold extensive information security policies, protocols, tools, and methodologies. Supervise and guide the information security team, offering mentorship and support. Perform routine security evaluations and audits to detect weaknesses and guarantee compliance with industry benchmarks and regulations. Work in partnership with IT, risk management, and other divisions to tackle security challenges and implement robust security measures. Manage incident response planning and execution, including the investigation and resolution of security incidents. Remain informed about emerging security threats and trends, proactively adopting strategies to protect the organization. Create and present security awareness training programs for staff members. Oversee the budget for the information security program and allocate resources efficiently. Represent the organization in security-related discussions with external parties, including clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred. At least 10 years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity. Profound understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST and CCPA. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a comparable industry or sector. Knowledge of cloud security and experience with cloud service providers. Acquaintance with security tools and technologies such as endpoint detection and response, SIEM, firewalls, and email security.
