The Sales Lead - Store Operations Expert is a key position at DICK'S Sporting Goods, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a trusted leader on our team, you will be responsible for leading by example, building strong relationships with colleagues, and ensuring that our store operations run smoothly.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to join our team in Washington, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our sales floor team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and sales growth
- Provide coaching and guidance to sales floor team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Ensure that our store operations run smoothly, including receiving and stocking merchandise, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, vendors, and customers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
