Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth analysis of member accounts to determine eligibility for retirement and service purchases based on TRS laws and policies.
  • Provide expert counseling to members and their representatives, answering questions related to individual accounts and assisting with the completion of online retirement applications and forms.
  • Estimate monthly benefits, calculate costs for purchasing additional service credit, and process related paperwork.
  • Assess and monitor prior account activity for accuracy, making corrections as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries from members and their families regarding TRS laws and policies, required documentation, and other matters related to member accounts.
