We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients meet their tax obligations and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Responsibilities of the Tax Compliance Specialist include:

  • Coordinating and compiling accurate and timely information to prepare and file tax documents and regulatory submissions.
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of revisions to tax documents and regulatory submissions.
  • Preparing correspondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities.
  • Testing tax mapping scenarios within our tax lab and/or clients' tax engines to ensure accurate tax results.
  • Supporting the testing and implementation of systems and process changes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Reviewing jurisdiction laws and validating forms provided by clients' customers to ensure good faith standards are met.
  • Contributing to the development of requirements for new and existing client projects.
  • Understanding and resolving general customer issues.
  • Participating in other operational and strategic projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Tax Compliance Specialist include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project and reporting of financial data.
  • Willingsness to learn new technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites.
  • Less than one year of experience in public accounting.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
