Customer Service Representative

La Lomita, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and operating the cash register.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Operate the cash register to ring sales and handle customer transactions.
- Perform basic math functions to collect payments, make accurate change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws related to alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales.
- Card customers for age-restricted products and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform regular cleaning activities to maintain a clean and orderly store, including bathrooms and fuel dispensers.
- Participate in stocking and merchandising efforts to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Experience with professional cash handling procedures and a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Previous experience in a convenience store or food service environment is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
- Possession of a Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission card to sell alcohol.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- High energy and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily performed inside a retail store, with occasional outdoor work in an outdoor environment.
