We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Happy State Bank. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, processing financial transactions, and selling bank products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service to customers and coworkers
  • Open new consumer and business accounts
  • Accept and process deposits, including large commercial deposits, night and mail deposits, and loan payments
  • Sell cashier checks and money orders
  • Transfer funds
  • Monitor cash for detection of counterfeit money
  • Verify customer identity, endorsements, and signatures
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of the day
  • Order money from the vault
  • Occasionally balance the vault
  • Identify and process dormant accounts
  • Answer telephones
  • Perform depository account maintenance and enter new accounts into the system
  • Serve as a backup Teller as needed
  • Assist the branch manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Teller preferred
  • Complete New Account Consumer and New Account Business training
