POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Account Support Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing, developing, and executing support services tailored for the national account division. This position is pivotal in advocating for products and services to various stakeholders, thereby fostering business expansion through effective communication and information dissemination. The manager leads a dedicated team of five to ten professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategically plans, prioritizes, and directs the functions of the sales support team.
  • Oversees the team responsible for the implementation and management of contract data within our systems, including pricing structures, rebate programs, accrual levels, cost savings, and payment terms.
  • Ensures that management and field personnel are informed about ongoing activities, projects, proposals, and changes to agreements.
  • Administers and provides consultancy on contracts with external clients.
  • Formulates pre-sales contract strategies and collaborates closely with sales and business management to develop proposals, contracts, and bidding documents.
  • Guarantees the fulfillment of contractual obligations by all contracting parties.
  • Leads the teams in responding to customer proposal requests, in conjunction with Corporate Account Managers and the support team.
  • Creates tailored spreadsheet and database reports for analysis.
  • Responsible for implementing policies and strategies aimed at achieving short-term objectives.
  • Coordinates training for the sales force on systems and databases related to sales.
  • Ensures accountability within the sales force regarding pricing, contracts, and proposal requests.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
  • Designs and delivers presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervises the design, implementation, or delivery of processes, programs, and policies utilizing specialized knowledge and expertise.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor's degree is typically required, along with five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong decision-making and multitasking capabilities are essential.
  • Proficient in advanced PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence Tools, and ERP system applications.
  • Excellent presentation skills are necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of sales contract terminology and conditions is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Capacity to influence others regarding policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in managing direct reports effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Some travel may be required.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: None required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Manages 5-10 direct reports.

BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY: None.
