Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing all activities and personnel within the Accounting, Medical Records, and Central Supply/Purchasing departments.

  • Manage billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, central supply, purchasing, and medical records in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Supervise and lead the accounting team.
  • Assist the Vice President of Finance with strategic planning for the Client Accounting group to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Review month-end financial statements for the client base, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality completion by the accounting staff.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and board reports as required.
  • Coordinate year-end audits, reviews, and tax preparation for clients.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and distribution to clients.
  • Assist in training sessions and presentations for administrators and Business Office Managers on financial and operational topics.
  • Automate and streamline processes within the accounting department.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting controls and proper delegation of duties (i.e., internal controls).

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• 4-10 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
