Educational Qualifications

Professional Experience
  • Experience in utility accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Background in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including model creation and pivot tables, is essential.
  • Familiarity with utility accounting and finance to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with accounting applications relevant to the industry is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
  • Solid understanding and application of utility finance, profitability, economics, and budgeting principles.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts such as net income, earnings per share, cash flow analysis, and revenue requirements.
  • High proficiency in applying GAAP, regulatory accounting principles, and budget concepts is preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners, demonstrating teamwork.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with peers and management across various levels.
  • Possesses technical expertise and analytical skills, including problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adept at creating and delivering clear oral, written, and visual presentations suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically, innovate, implement effectively, and make timely decisions.
