About the Role

Cinemark is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in the direction and decision-making process
  • Train and coach team members in their specific job functions
  • Assist in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager
  • Ensure theatre team members follow the dress code and provide excellent customer service
  • Lead or attend shift huddles and conduct wellness checks on team members
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
  • Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Responds with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull objects
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times
