About the Role

Cinemark is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in the direction and decision-making process
  • Work in all departments and job functions to provide cross-training and support
  • Train and coach Team Members in their specific job functions
  • Assist in the preparation of administrative and special reports
  • Inspect the theatre building, parking lot, and equipment to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure Team Members follow the dress code and provide excellent Guest service
  • Lead or attend Shift Huddles to discuss important topics and ensure Team Members are aware of their responsibilities
  • Conduct Wellness Checks on Team Members and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred
  • Completion of three basic courses in Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
  • Basic food handling training and local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Excellent Guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull objects
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times
