Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our vibrant theme restaurant. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the restaurant's success by ensuring exceptional service and a delightful dining experience for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Relations: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys a remarkable and memorable experience. Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.

Operational Assistance: Collaborate with the General Manager to manage daily operations, including opening and closing tasks, staff scheduling, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Team Development: Inspire and lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Cultivate a positive workplace culture, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Staff Coordination: Assist in supervising restaurant staff to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality and service standards. Offer guidance and coaching to enhance team performance and resolve any issues.

Inventory Management: Partner with the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and place orders with suppliers as necessary. Ensure proper storage and rotation of food and beverage items.

Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.

Sales Initiatives: Support efforts to boost sales and promote menu items effectively.

Financial Oversight: Assist with cash handling processes, including sales reconciliation and daily deposits. Contribute to monitoring expenses to achieve financial objectives.

Health and Safety Standards: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.

- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.

- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software.

- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectively.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
