Job Title: Front Office Registrar
Job Summary:
Optimus Health Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled Front Office Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring a complete and timely patient flow process. This includes verifying demographic and insurance information, monitoring provider schedules, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intake of patients and update patient information
- Collect co-pays and assist with scheduling of tests & treatments
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and create a comfortable atmosphere for our customers
- Responsible for completing patient demographic, insurance financial information and ensuring that patients are processed in a timely, accurate and complete manner
- Responsible and accountable for verification of insurances to ensure billing of services
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma / Associates degree preferred
Experience: At least five years' experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Language Skills: Bi-lingual Helpful
Additional Requirements:
Great computer skills
Familiarity with EMR, helpful
Commitment to maintenance of patient privacy
Flexibility to work at other OHC sites as necessary
