About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Verizon. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales leads, helping our customers fall in love with our products and services, and closing sales and agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads to drive business growth and revenue
  • Develop and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers, exceeding their expectations and building strong relationships
  • Collaborate with support partners to package and deliver solutions that meet customer needs
  • Close sales and agreements, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  • Nurture established connections, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Forecast sales and track progress, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas: account management, sales, marketing, or business development
  • Two or more years of experience working with an internal corporate account team
  • Experience in managing a brand's portfolios and pitching for new business
  • Experience in digital channels, including social media and online marketing
  • Ability to write briefs, work closely with all disciplines within the agency and clients, and collaborate
  • Experience in applicable applications and tools, such as Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging channels, including marketing best practices in B2C and B2B fields
  • Ability to gain knowledge in specific channels or vertical markets as required by specific Client's business unit and larger organization's industry
  • Ability to partner with clients to write thorough and actionable creative briefs
  • Ability to manage crisis situations, be resourceful, and solution-oriented
