Job Summary

This role focuses on the recruitment and admission processes for prospective students at Middle Georgia State University.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management (60%)
- Strategically plans and organizes recruitment events within a designated geographic area.
- Attends recruitment events to engage with guidance counselors, parents, high school students, and non-traditional learners.
- Evaluates data to identify primary, secondary, and tertiary schools for recruitment efforts.

Customer Experience Management (25%)
- Implements a case management approach to guide prospective students through the admission and enrollment journey using various communication strategies.
- Conducts campus tours for interested students and their families.
- Aids in organizing university open houses, preview days, and other enrollment initiatives.

Administrative Duties (10%)
- Maintains comprehensive records of recruitment events and contacts.
- Supports the management of the student information and correspondence system.
- Assists in creating promotional materials.
- Participates in professional development meetings and workshops.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)
- Fosters community partnerships and collaborations with Academic Affairs and other campus stakeholders.
- Undertakes other related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Other Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia or the ability to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

- Relevant experience that provides a foundational understanding of the key responsibilities associated with this position, typically gained through internships or similar roles.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

- Familiarity with Middle Georgia State University’s admissions criteria and academic offerings.
- Understanding of student financial aid principles and college recruitment regulations.
- Proficiency in computer operations and relevant software applications.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with effective presentation and organizational skills.
