Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Catering Supervisor to become a vital part of our educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing catering events, ensuring they are carried out seamlessly and successfully.

Compensation:

$13-$14 per hour based on experience.

Work Location:

Middle Georgia State University - Macon.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Event Catering Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Managing the setup, service, and dismantling of events.
  • Leading and coordinating event staff.
  • Ensuring prompt and courteous service for all event functions in accordance with established standards.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and training of new team members.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in catering, food service, or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of event execution.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
