Job Summary

This role is pivotal in the recruitment and admission processes for prospective students at Middle Georgia State University.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management (60%)
- Strategically organizes and executes recruitment events within designated regions.
- Engages with guidance counselors, parents, and prospective students at various recruitment events.
- Evaluates data to identify key schools for recruitment initiatives.

Customer Experience Management (25%)
- Implements a personalized approach to guide prospective students through the admissions process.
- Conducts informative campus tours for interested students and their families.
- Supports enrollment events such as open houses and preview days.

Administrative Duties (10%)
- Maintains comprehensive records of recruitment activities and contacts.
- Aids in the management of student information systems.
- Contributes to the creation of promotional materials.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)
- Fosters community partnerships in collaboration with academic departments and campus stakeholders.
- Undertakes other related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Other Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience:
- Relevant experience in recruitment or admissions, typically gained through internships or similar roles.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

- Familiarity with MGA’s admissions criteria and academic offerings.
- Understanding of financial aid principles and college recruitment regulations.
- Proficiency in computer applications and related software.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
