Retirement Benefits Administrator

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our team. The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and other related issues.
- Ensure that all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stay current with changes in benefits laws and regulations and assist in implementing necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and providers to manage services, resolve issues, and ensure the quality of benefits programs.
- Review and analyze vendor performance and service levels.
- Develop and distribute benefits-related communication materials, such as benefits guides, newsletters, and presentations.
- Ensure that employee benefits data is correctly entered into HRIS and other systems.
- Coordinate and manage the open enrollment process, including planning, communication, and implementation.
- Assist in developing and updating benefits policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits offerings.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
