POSITION SUMMARY FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

The Business Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategies that enhance the organization's current service offerings while also exploring new avenues for growth. This position requires collaboration with various departments and leadership to align with the strategic vision of Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the shaping of long-term goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Assess existing service lines, enhancing successful initiatives while modifying those that are underperforming.
  • Research potential markets for expansion, analyzing competitors and devising strategic plans for market entry.
  • Position the organization strategically within target markets to secure a competitive edge.
  • Enhance the organization's visibility and brand recognition.
  • Build and maintain relationships that can be leveraged for growth and increased market presence.
  • Develop a sustainable pipeline of opportunities for long-term pursuit.
  • Monitor emerging market trends and provide insights on potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and recommend new products and services that align with the organization's offerings.
  • Conduct thorough research on new markets, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to expand Medicare and Medi-Medi service offerings.
  • Manage programs aimed at supporting individuals transitioning to Medicare at age 65.
  • Advise on product development and promotional strategies.
  • Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to support organizational growth.
  • Engage in conferences and meetings to elevate the organization's public profile.
  • Collaborate with elected officials to foster partnerships and identify funding opportunities.
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners.
  • Drive provider growth and site expansion through strategic partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for patient growth across all service lines and collaborate with health plans and brokers.
  • Analyze data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Track and report on the progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as the internal expert on business and provider expansion activities.
  • Establish strategic alliances with key decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
  • Create marketing materials to support outreach and brand awareness efforts.
  • Translate the organization's strategy into actionable objectives for various departments.
  • Explore value-based payment models with commercial and public payers.
  • Diversify revenue streams by identifying new funding opportunities.
  • Oversee special projects, coordinating with partners and managing resources as needed.
  • Participate in budget development while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the managed care landscape, including health plans and healthcare providers.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and trends.
  • Proven track record of achieving performance targets.
  • Ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced skills in contract negotiation and managed care reimbursement methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in developing business plans driven by data insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
