About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Southwest Rail business development efforts. As Vice President, Southwest Rail, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in the region, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate alternative delivery pursuits, ensuring compliance with EXP's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to secure long-term relationships with key clients in the Southwest region.
  • Identify, recruit, and retain technical subject matter experts, project managers, and production resources to support business growth.
  • Manage client relationships, negotiate teaming agreements, and lead pursuit teams to secure new projects.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor junior staff in project delivery processes and engineering management techniques.
  • Support the growth of EXP's presence in the Southwest market for large PPPs and complex infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in business development and leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of alternative delivery methods and PPPs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working with key clients in the Southwest region.
