Automotive Warranty Claims Specialist

This role involves supporting agents, clients, and customers by adjudicating claims, providing claims status, and resolving or escalating customer issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clients, agents, and contract terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handles claims-related calls per work schedule, performing within defined metrics
- May order an inspection when a claim exceeds a certain amount or shows possible fraud
- Follows proper claims procedures as outlined in training and feedback provided by QA or Supervisor
- Master understanding of clients, agents, and contract terms and conditions
- Supports other team members in assisting customers when situations require involvement
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience within the Automotive Service Industry required (Technician/Mechanic, Service Advisors, Parts Advisor)
- Strong automotive technical and mechanical knowledge
- Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot and service policy issues
- Proficient in Windows and MS-Office Products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior verbal and written communication skills
