Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management and Control Officer to join our team at Citigroup Inc. as a Business Risk and Control Specialist. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of risk management principles and control design, execution, and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of automated control solutions to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver business requirements documents (BRDs) for assigned controls.
  • Participate in the design and development of automated control processes, working closely with technology developers.
  • Lead and coordinate the drafting of BRDs for assigned controls, communicating and presenting to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the development life cycle of assigned controls, working closely with developers, through to final delivery.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for implementation of assigned controls for automation.
  • Plan and execute go-live logistics for automated control solutions.
  • Member of the Controls Automation working group, attending meetings to provide ongoing updates on assigned deliveries to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the offshore controls utility in the drafting and delivery of user guides and delivery of targeted training sessions for each automated controls solution.
  • Mentor, guide, and train junior team members in control principles and automation techniques.
  • Track and manage ongoing operation of live controls on the ROCK platform and be a key point of escalation for technology incidents and incident reporting.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of banking and/or risk management experience, 2+ years in Risk & Controls roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of the principles of control design, execution, and testing.
  • Knowledge of advanced automation tools and applications.
  • Good understanding of MCA (Managers Control Assessment) frameworks and processes.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
  • Effective communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
  • Strong execution and project management skills with a drive for continuous improvement to ensure timely/quality delivery of critical projects/tasks.
  • Innovative and independent thinker able to structure, design, and articulate imaginative automated solutions.
Travel Requirement

Less than 10%.

Education

Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred.
