Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management and Control Officer to join our team at Citigroup Inc. as a Business Risk and Control Specialist. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of risk management principles and control design, execution, and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of automated control solutions to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess suitability for automation and operation of control within a central controls utility.
  • Design and implement operating models for control themes and controls assigned to the program.
  • Develop and track project plans for assigned control automation deliveries.
  • Participate in communications and discussions with technology developers on required data feeds and design of automated control processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the drafting of business requirements documents for assigned controls.
  • Complete analysis of headcount requirements and capacity assessments for operation of assigned controls.
  • Manage each stage of development life cycle for assigned controls, working closely with developers.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing for implementation of assigned controls.
  • Plan and execute go-live logistics for automated control solutions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of banking and/or risk management experience, 2+ years in Risk & Controls roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of risk management principles and control design, execution, and testing.
  • Knowledge of advanced automation tools and applications.
  • Good understanding of MCA (Managers Control Assessment) frameworks and processes.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint.
  • Effective communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong people and relationship management skills with the ability to influence others and foster a sense of collaboration.
  • Strong execution and project management skills with drive for continuous improvement to ensure timely/quality delivery of critical projects/tasks.
  • Innovative and independent thinker with the ability to structure, design, and articulate imaginative automated solutions.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.

Travel Requirement

Less than 10%.
