Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Control Management Officer within our Enterprise Functions, which encompasses Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Public Affairs, Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion. This position will be instrumental in overseeing control testing activities, referred to internally as Evidence Based Control Evaluations (EBCE). The control evaluation team will engage in evidence-based testing, which may include sampling and reviewing evidence to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of controls and their ability to mitigate assigned risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee a continuous control testing schedule.
  • Lead control evaluation teams on projects of varying complexity and risk levels, ensuring thorough understanding of assigned controls and comprehensive documentation of the team's work.
  • Identify and propose enhancements for process improvement and risk control development by directing teams on strategic execution of activities.
  • Effectively communicate concerns to executive leadership in a manner that promotes the achievement of shared organizational goals.
  • Prepare reports and conduct data analysis related to your work.
  • Provide mentorship and training to employees across Control Management to foster ongoing improvement.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with various partners in the business, Control Management, Independent Risk Management, and Audit.
  • Oversee the allocation of personnel and financial resources to ensure commitments are fulfilled and aligned with strategic objectives in the Business Controls functional area.
  • Foster a culture of talent development within Business Controls to meet organizational objectives and strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Risk Management or Control Management, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in control evaluation/testing and/or auditing, including assessing risk, drafting and executing test scripts, and identifying gaps in controls and their execution.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex analyses and strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, achieve objectives, and perform under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Job Expectations:
  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring presence in the office three days a week and remote work for two days.
