Role Overview
As a Senior Project Planner, you will be responsible for crafting detailed economic forecasts and resource-optimized timelines utilizing Primavera 6 and MS Project software.


Your role will involve calculating earned value management metrics based on inputs from the operations and production teams, delivering project reports on Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI), along with progress curves and staffing forecasts. You will also maintain estimates to complete (ETC) and estimates at completion (EAC) within reporting tools.


Collaboration with Project Managers and team members is essential to identify and address challenges in planning and scheduling for assigned projects. You will actively monitor, control, and consolidate project plans, providing valuable feedback to enhance project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project management team in the preparation of comprehensive project reports, including scheduling updates, progress assessments, change management, and various management reports.
- Participate in various meetings, including design reviews, pre-bid discussions, bid clarifications, pre-construction briefings, construction status updates, and project reviews.
- Conduct ongoing project progress assessments, identifying critical tasks and reviewing forecasts against actual progress.
- Keep management regularly informed about issues, challenges, and project status in relation to the baseline program.
- Provide necessary support to the Project Manager during client meetings.


- Aid the Project Control Manager in defining, preparing, and maintaining policies, procedures, tools, and best practices related to planning and earned value management.


- Define and prepare monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports in alignment with project requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Science, or Business).
- Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and schedule development for significant infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to define and produce planning reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A successful track record in planning multi-disciplinary projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with a strong initiative.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- Understanding of risk identification and quantification is preferred.
- Previous experience in similar projects (Offshore/Onshore Interconnector, Offshore Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, etc.) is advantageous.
