Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess bioequivalence for intricate products, particularly those that may demonstrate significant variability in pharmacokinetics.
  • Offer expert guidance to harmonize revisions across various disciplines, ensuring that content is thoroughly updated, clear, and compliant with the Plain Writing Act (PWA).
  • Act as a subject matter authority in bioequivalence and serve as the principal advisor for the development of revised guidance, collaborating with other divisions within the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) for the enhancement of the Bioequivalence Guidance for Industry.
  • Create educational materials and content related to bioequivalence and other processes to be disseminated in accessible language.

Employment Requirements:

  • Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this role unless otherwise specified.
  • Selective Service Registration: Required for males born on or after 12/31/1959.
  • Background Investigation Requirement: All personnel must successfully complete a security investigation.
  • Certification of Accuracy: All submitted information must be precise and subject to verification.
  • Direct Deposit: Federal salary payments will be electronically deposited into a designated bank account.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or an equivalent qualification from an AVMA-accredited institution.
  • Specialized experience in the evaluation and analysis of scientific data pertaining to generic animal pharmaceuticals.
  • Proficiency in the English language as evidenced by recognized assessments.

  • Transcripts and evaluations of foreign education are required for certain positions.
  • Applicants must fulfill all educational and experiential criteria by the application deadline.
