Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role: Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse

The Registered Nurse at TriStar is responsible for delivering direct patient care, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment, and planning personalized patient care through a collaborative approach. They actively engage in performance improvement initiatives and support the hospital's mission and vision.

As a charge nurse, you will oversee quality patient care delivery, manage staff assignments, and act as a clinical resource. Respond promptly to inquiries and challenges to maintain exceptional care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address patients' care requirements based on physician directives
  • Administer medications, perform dressing changes, and monitor vital signs
  • Document patient conditions using computerized systems
  • Educate patients and families as part of the Care Planning team

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing institution
  • Licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months of employment
  • Preferred: One year of clinical nursing experience
