Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state regulations. Collaborating with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver personalized and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and communicating any changes.
  • Executing medical procedures and monitoring as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation of care in patient records.
  • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient responses, taking necessary actions for any adverse reactions.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care by promptly addressing requests and anticipating needs.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity in communication.

Qualifications Required:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150-bed facility that has been delivering quality healthcare for over 40 years. Our Birth Center offers Sumner County's only Level II NICU services, featuring spacious labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum suites.
