Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role: Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse

The Registered Nurse at TriStar is responsible for delivering direct patient care, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment, and developing personalized patient care plans through a collaborative approach. You will actively engage in performance improvement initiatives and help fulfill the hospital's mission and vision.

As a charge nurse, you will oversee quality patient care delivery, assign staff duties, and act as a clinical resource. You will respond promptly to inquiries and challenges to maintain high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address patient care requirements based on physician directives
  • Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs
  • Document patient conditions using electronic systems
  • Provide education to patients and families as part of the Care Planning team

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing institution
  • Valid licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • BLS certification; ACLS required within six months of hire
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
