Role Overview
The Office Coordinator position at StoneMor plays a crucial role within our team, offering a diverse range of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of our services. In this dynamic role, you will engage with customers and team members alike, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere through various tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing contracts and ensuring quality control, verifying all documents before entry.
- Managing banking tasks: including cash receipt entries, deposit slips, credit card transactions, and bank deposits.
- Overseeing daily cemetery operations, including Interment Orders and Authorizations, in accordance with company policies.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, updating files with new sales and burials, and scanning necessary documentation.
- Assisting with Human Resources tasks, particularly in onboarding new team members.
- Handling Accounts Payable, ensuring timely payment of all bills and processing invoices.
- Managing Accounts Receivable, including the collection of outstanding balances from customers.
- Preparing deeds and certificates for Sales Management, ensuring compliance with state guidelines.
- Coordinating Memorial Orders and managing work orders for park services.
- Participating in daily meetings with various departments to ensure cohesive operations.
- Generating reports as required, including Trust and month-end processing.

Qualifications :
- Proficient in multi-line phone systems and filing systems.
- Capable of typing at least 40 words per minute with minimal errors and possessing strong data entry skills.
- Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and working independently or collaboratively.
- Valid state driver's license and access to a personal vehicle may be required.
- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred.
