Overview:

Looking for a plaintiff’s attorney with 7 plus years experience. Must be able to take a claim from initial, potential client interview, to setting up claims, helping people with property damage all the way to discovery/motions practice to trial. You’ve got to be proficient in all stages of personal injury claims.

Responsibilities:

AMONGST OTHERS:

- Conduct legal research using Westlaw to identify relevant case law and statutes.
- Assist attorneys with document preparation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain files, both physical and electronic, in accordance with tribal law regulations.
- Assist with the negotiation and litigation process, including preparing for depositions and court appearances.
- Develop a strong understanding of personal injury law, including environmental law, and apply this knowledge to case management.
- Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including answering phones, taking messages, and performing other administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of case activity, including correspondence and court documents.

Requirements:

- JD
- A strong understanding of personal injury law and its applications in the context of environmental law.
- Experience working in a law office or legal environment.
- Proficiency in using Westlaw for legal research.
- Excellent research and organizational skills.
- Ability to negotiate and litigate effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
