Position Overview

The Healthcare Client Liaison will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and professionalism of our front desk services. Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, managing appointment scheduling, handling multi-line phone systems, and directing patient inquiries effectively. The Healthcare Client Liaison collaborates closely with the front desk team and other departments to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Working Hours: Standard office hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for extended hours based on daily demand. Participation in weekend and holiday on-call rotations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately or assisting patients as necessary, while ensuring the flow of information between the laboratory, onsite physicians, and staff adheres to our patient care standards and privacy regulations.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
  • Answer incoming calls and route them to the correct personnel.
  • Welcome visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and guide them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Compile and maintain medical records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Conduct patient interviews to complete necessary insurance and privacy documentation.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an ADMINISTRATIVE MEDICAL office setting is required.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
