The Home Care Staffing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all clients receive timely and accurate service through the effective management of staffing resources. This position may also involve participation in the recruitment and onboarding processes for the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule and assign field personnel to deliver care and services to clients as directed by the Program Coordinator.
  2. Ensure all staff members are equipped with the necessary information to provide optimal care, including client demographics, specific needs, and care plans.
  3. Handle incoming calls from field staff and clients, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and documenting outcomes.
  4. Provide clients and their families with accurate schedules on a monthly basis, following up on coverage issues and cancellations while keeping the Program Coordinator informed.
  5. Manage various reporting responsibilities, including:
  • Updating clinician availability and reporting to the Program Coordinator.
  • Generating reports on clockwork exceptions, double bookings, and incomplete visits.
  • Confirming weekend schedules with caregivers and clients.
  • Tracking hours and attendance for all staff members, communicating any issues to the Program Coordinator.
Ensure all shifts and visits are recorded accurately and in a timely manner to minimize payroll discrepancies.Assist in the hiring and orientation of new team members as directed.Maintain confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and HIPAA requirements.Be available for on-call duties during weekends, holidays, and after hours, addressing staffing concerns as needed.Conduct client surveys regarding patient care as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare staffing is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently.
  • A team player dedicated to high-quality customer service with a positive demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all team members and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Working Environment:

This position involves working indoors in an office setting as well as in client homes, with occasional travel required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to engage in physical activities, including moderate lifting and extensive bending, standing, and walking.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Licenses & Certifications:

Valid Driver's License required.
