Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate staff; take messages and assign tasks as needed.
  • Manage scheduling, confirmation, and cancellation of patient appointments.
  • Coordinate all elements of hospital consultations received via phone.
  • Organize follow-up appointments.
  • Oversee the use of telephone services.
  • Reschedule appointments for patients who did not show up.
  • Check voicemail messages daily, every hour.
  • Ensure accurate information is available for the day.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in medical administration
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus
