Position Overview
The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and supporting the medical team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and activating their files efficiently.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service through both phone interactions and in-person engagements.
  • Collaborating with team members while also being capable of working independently to maintain high-quality care.
  • Managing high call volumes with professionalism and clarity.
  • Cross-training in various tasks to ensure operational efficiency and coverage.
  • Communicating financial obligations to patients and collecting copays as necessary.
  • Receiving training on insurance verification and benefits eligibility.
  • Performing registration tasks for both new and returning patients.
  • Scheduling patient appointments according to established guidelines.
  • Upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned.
