JOB OBJECTIVE:
Oversee and enhance a comprehensive program for all stages of external audits, encompassing inspections by customers and regulatory authorities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs and refines the External Audit facilitation program along with its associated workflows.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for organizing and conducting external audits.
  • Key contributor in ensuring the site maintains audit readiness at all times. Regularly conducts mock audits, identifies areas for enhancement, and monitors improvement initiatives to completion.
  • Develops and maintains documentation for the external audit process to guarantee ongoing program efficacy.
  • Collaborates with essential stakeholders to create training materials for employees regarding external audit procedures. Provides training to staff on processes and designated responsibilities as necessary.
  • Represents Promega positively in discussions and interactions with partners, vendors, or clients as required.
  • Records information in the eQMS and tracks activities to completion. Collaborates with others to ensure actions are satisfactorily finalized ahead of deadlines.
  • Understands and adheres to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards relevant to our operations.
  • Partners with management on urgent or critical business activities.
  • Exhibits decision-making capabilities and sound judgment in daily responsibilities, effectively managing interpersonal challenges and resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Demonstrates inclusivity through actions and is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. Acts with kindness, curiosity, and respect for others.
  • Incorporates Promega's 6 Emotional & Social Intelligence (ESI) core principles into daily responsibilities.
  • Understands and adheres to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards relevant to our operations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in formal presentations. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals possessing diverse scientific, business, and organizational expertise.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities; capable of managing multiple tasks independently and readily adapting to changes in workload or priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to operate computers.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
